- Assisting clients to cope with the communication and PR needs generated by a crisis/issue situation
- Identifying the type of crisis/issue and devising a suitable Communication Plan directed at shareholders, the media, other stakeholders, investors, and clients
- Preparing and disseminating messages and statements to identified groups within the Communication Plan
- Handling public/media inquiries regarding the crisis/issue
- Arranging for press conferences, media roundtables, interviews
- Monitoring media coverage and public response to crisis/issue
- Providing post crisis follow-up releases and news to the media
- Evaluating the communications process, providing full media documentation to the crisis/issue
- Preparing a report identifying the reasons behind the crisis/issue and how it can be avoided in the future once the crisis/issue is resolved
